It's official Seth Jones is a Blackhawk! Will he be named the next captain? Only time will tell
Full Deal:
The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired defenceman Seth Jones, the 2021 32nd overall pick and a 2022 6th round pick from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for defenceman Adam Boqvist, the 2021 12th overall pick, the 2021 44th overall pick and a 2022 1st round pick.
The Blue Jackets then flip the 44th overall pick to the Hurricanes for defenceman Jake Bean.
The Blackhawks agree to terms to a eight-year, $76 million contract extension with Jones with an AAV of $9.5 million, which will be signed opening day of free agency.
