BREAKING: The IIHF reveals World Juniors date and location

The IIHF President Luc Tardiff confirmed that the previously cancelled 2022 World Junior Championships will be held in Edmonton/Red Deer, Alberta in August.
Official IIHF website:
''The IIHF World Junior Championship in Edmonton and Red Deer in 2022 will likewise be contested in the summer. «It will be mid-August in Alberta. Tardif said that the tournament will be open to players born in 2002 or later, and that the results will be erased in December.''
«We are discussing with all parties. The Hlinka Gretzky Cup follows. He congratulated Hockey Canada and USA Hockey for staging these two top-level junior events throughout the summer.''
