The Blues will be without Ryan O'Reilly until at least mid-February, due to a broken foot.
O'Reilly, 31, has 10 goals, 16 points through 37 games played with St. Louis this season.
He is one of the top trade chips in the NHL this season.
Blues have recalled forward Jake Neighbours from the Springfield Thunderbirds.
