The Athletic's Eric Duhatschek believes Marchand described the Eastern Conference playoffs well.
For once, I think Marchand has the supporters' support.
«Brad Marchand made a great point, that every playoff team in the East represents a legitimate Stanley Cup contender and that the playoffs are so deep that it's going to be the equivalent of having to win four Stanley Cup finals to end up in the winner's circle this year. And that's actually fair comment.» Basically, he is complimenting the Leafs by saying they are equivalent of having to win four Stanley Cup teams.
I feel like NHL players have more respect for the Maple Leafs than hockey fans!
