As if things weren't bad enough for Brendan Gallagher of the Montreal Canadiens already, it got worse. Gallagher returned home from Florida after losing the Stanley Cup Final to the Tampa Bay Lightning and found someone had broken into his house.
"When your Stanley Cup dreams are crushed and you come home to find out you've been robbed," Gallagher posted to his official TikTok account. "But, it's ok. Because pitbull has been there and done that."
Gallagher did not say what, if anything, had been taken. Not only is he now dealing with the loss and the robbery, but Habs head coach Dominque Ducharme confirmed after the Bolts won the Cup that Gallagher had been playing with a groin injury in the playoffs, "and more."
All in all, Gallagher seems to be taking it in stride. Perhaps the pizza he was eating in the video helped ease the pain.
