Bruce Boudreau Has an Emotional Breakdown When Asked About the Significance of Being an NHL Coach
In the midst of an imminent trade of their captain, and some of the worst asset management in recent history, the Vancouver Canucks' biggest issue has been the management of head coach Bruce Boudreau.
While it is well known that Rick Tocchet will take the helm in Vancouver sometime in the next week, the team has treated Boudreau terribly. Despite all of the effort he put it, trying to get the team into shape, and the close bond he shared with his players, the Canucks have left him with no communication and no direction for the future.
During an interview today, he was asked about what it meant to him to be an NHL coach. The question hit him hard and he began to get emotional. He then cut the interview short when he began to cry.
Whether this is the end for Boudreau or not in the NHL, he will always be a fan-favourite, in Vancouver, and with the 31 other teams as well.
