Canadian Team making a push for Erik Karlsson
If Erik Karlsson is traded, it will inevitably be a blockbuster.
The sheer cap-hits in the deal will be franchise-altering, with Karlsson netting a $11.5-million average annual value.
On 32 Thoughts with Elliotte Friedman, it was revealed that the Edmonton Oilers have had serious discussions regarding Karlsson:
I don't think it ever got to Erik Karlsson, but I do think the Oilers and Sharks had legit conversations about the revitalized defender.
While they might not be a frontrunner, there is a path to EK65 playing in Edmonton come deadline time.
We will see what happens with this exciting case.
