However, this morning, the Laval resident spoke out about Habs forward Cole Caufield. He didn't hesitate to throw flowers at him.
@colecaufield is real good today and would of been real good 20-30 years ago. The special players could of played in any era-they are smarter and more passionate than most, but more importantly they don't waste time listening to the meaningless noise. #tooSmall!😂😂 https://t.co/QWXVy4M1cr Martin St.Louis (@mstlouis_26) June 25, 2021
Sure enough, Caufield is shorter than average in the NHL at 5 feet and 7 inches. However, in the Stanley Cup Conference Finals series against the Golden Knights, he made a huge difference with his four goals in six games.
He is a very smart, responsible and fast player. As good a shooter as he is a passer, he will certainly be a sensational player in the future. The comments from St-Louis are certainly proof of this.
The Montreal Canadiens are now waiting to know the identity of their next opponent for the Stanley Cup final. His opponent will be decided tonight after Game Seven between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Islanders. The first match of the final will take place on Monday at 8 p.m.
