According to Boston Bruins reporter Fluto Shinzawa, David Pastrnak was not happy with the firing of head coach Bruce Cassidy, as well as the way management handled the Torey Krug and David Krejci negotiations.
According to the article, the Bruins would like to sign Pastrnak, but if Sweeney remains the general manager of this team, the forward will ask to be traded.
Pastrnak will become an uncompensated independent player at the end of next season.
He scored 77 points in 72 games during the most recent campaign.
