Eastern Conference Contender Making a Push for Milan Lucic
Going back, every true contender has always had a tough guy'. The Tampa Bay Lightning had Pat Maroon and Corey Perry, the Edmonton Oilers had Evander Kane, and the list goes on.
The New York Rangers had this piece, before they traded Ryan Reaves to the Minnesota Wild for a fifth round pick.
Now, it appears that they're looking to add a new enforcer to the squad.
Milan Lucic is in the final year of his deal in Calgary, with a cap-hit of $6.25-million. He would likely be very cheap for the Rangers to acquire, maybe even earning an asset in the process.
Larry Brooks has revealed that the Rangers are actively looking at Lucic.
It would definitely be an interesting fit, and it would definitely be fun to watch. Do you want to see Lucic in a blueshirt?
