When the name of the very talented forward of the Nashville Predators, Eeli Tolvanen, appeared on waivers on December 12, everyone was very surprised by this announcement.
The Seattle Kraken claimed the young Finnish forward, who was far from being the first choice at that time.
Since then, he has scored five points in six games. Isn't that exceptional?
As reported by Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, it is quite surprising that 22 teams, including the Montreal Canadiens, did not claim him before Seattle.
'' I think the most amazing thing about the Tolvanen case is that 22 teams turned their noses up at it." - Elliotte Friedman
It's hard to understand this decision by the Habs organization, but good for Ron Francis of the Kraken.
