Rumours are heating up about a potential trade between the Montreal Canadiens forward Josh Anderson to the Calgary Flames.
Yesterday, TSN Calgary reporter Salim Nadim Valji had this to say on his Twitter account:
"This is a player that the Calgary Flames have, in the past, had a very real and significant interest in, and I wonder if they could acquire Josh Anderson (salary held back by Montreal), as they look to get some more depth up front."
On Sportsnet, Insider Elliotte Friedman added a layer yesterday, saying that the Flames are looking for a forward who can score, like Josh Anderson.
Will they go back to the drawing board and make an offer to Kent Hughes?
To be continued.
