An experienced player available for free to help a team by the end of the season, what more could you want?
According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Eric Staal could make a return to the NHL soon.
"There's interest from some teams, he's playing for the opportunity to come back to the NHL, depending on the market in the next few days, some teams may opt for him." -David Pagnotta
This year, Staal has played just four games with the Wild's club-school and has five points in four games.
With Team Canada, he had four points in five games with Canada.
