Evander Kane shuts down trade rumors in the most hilarious way possible
With the knowledge that Ken Holland is relentlessly trying to improve his team prior to the deadline, Evander Kane sat down with CTV News to talk about the rumour mill he can't seem to escape from.
"I absorb it. I follow each and every one of your guy's Twitter accounts and like to stay up to date on the activity that's going on. The rumour mill is for me and I really enjoy it,"
With the flat salary cap being an ever-looming issue, Kane's $5.125-million salary has been mentioned in bigger moves for guys like Jakob Chychrun, Erik Karlsson, or the similarly named Patrick Kane.
While it is unlikely the Sharks would be looking for a reunion with Kane, the other two are a very real possibility. More likely than not, however, Kane will stay in Edmonton.
