In his third game with the San Jose Barracuda, Evander Kane scored his first goal and added 3 assists and finished the game with 4 points.
He got praised by his coach and his teammates after a great night.
"I thought he was great," said Barracuda coach Roy Sommer. "Every time he was on, he created. You could tell he was above everyone that's out there. When he wants to raise his game, he's pretty effective, especially at this level."
Even Evander's been enjoying his time being back on the ice.
"It's been great," said Kane. "You can tell the guys are happy to have me around. I know we didn't start off with a win, but the last two games have been great."
Surprisingly for everyone, one of his teammates praised his locker room presence.
"It's been awesome," Merkley said. "He brought the morale up for sure. The guys are having a lot more fun. I wasn't expecting it, but it's been a nice surprise."
Can we really say, Kane really wants to go back to the NHL with that attitude. Eights NHL scouts were on sight to watch Kaner.
