The Athletic's junior hockey expert Corey Pronman has a projection for the top two players in the 2022 draft, Shane Wright and Juraj Slafkovsky.
How many points will they be able to achieve at age 24 in the NHL?
According to Pronman, Wright could play between 18 and 20 minutes per game, with 30 goals and 70 points.
Slafkovsky's potential would be higher.
«That's the crux of the debate between Wright and Slafkovsky," said Pronman. I see Slafkovsky as a potential 35-40 goal scorer with 70-80 point production on the wing. I see Wright providing 60-70 points of production at center. Which player has the most value?»
