Andrew Peters, is now delivering some extremely upsetting news, assuming it's accurate. The NHL is not interested in sending players to Beijing, according to Peters, and it will be on the agenda for today's Board of Governors meetings.
If this is true, it will be the second straight Olympics in which NHL players do not compete, which will be immensely frustrating to fans.
There have also been allegations that some athletes are becoming nervous about competing in the Beijing Olympics. Players are concerned about being quarantined for three weeks if they test positive for COVID while in China.
I guess we will never see Mcdavid and Crosby on the same team :(.
