The Winnipeg Jets organization has just confirmed via an official press release that their amphitheatre will be filled to capacity (15,321 spectators) and will be sold out for the Jets' home games starting with the first game of the next NHL season in October. (in less than 2 months)
However, all employees and staff working at the games, as well as spectators in the arena, will be required to provide proof of full vaccination.
The organisation added that the vast majority of season ticket holders told Jets officials that requiring proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter the arena was important to them.
This will be the official rule for the 2021-22 season in Winnipeg.
Let's remember that since less than a week, the public health authorities there have allowed the stadiums of professional teams to fill their stands to 100%, with the condition of accepting only doubly vaccinated spectators.
Masks must be worn at all times indoors.
More details to come...
