Former NHL player sparks outrage among Leafs fans with a controversial suggestion regarding Matthews and Nylander
It is a raging question in the minds of all Toronto Maple Leafs fans. They have two of their core four in the last years of their contracts, William Nylander and Auston Matthews, and there is absolutely no indication either will stay.
Former Leaf Mike Rupp shared a funny tweet about the farewell tour for Matthews that will be the NHL All-Star game in Toronto.
After fans freaked out, he posted an 'apology' video, where he equally said he doesn't believe William Nylander will re-sign.
Leafs fans will just have to stay hopeful that their core-four won't become a core-two in 2024-25.
