The first comes from NHL source Chris Johnston, who believes Seattle Kraken veteran forward Marcus Johansson will be traded during the day. The Washington Capitals are one of the teams interested in acquiring Johnston before the deadline.
Next up is a significant trade rumor from NHL insider David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period. According to Pagnotta, the Anaheim Ducks could trade veteran goaltender John Gibson before the trade deadline.

Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Senators has a rumor. Garrioch says teams are interested in Senators defenceman Josh Brown. Brown has a $1.2 million budget charge on an expiring contract, making him a rental player for teams looking to add depth on their blue line.
Finally, like Brown, Andy Strickland of Bally Sports Midwest reports that Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Justin Braun is seeing interest ahead of the deadline.
