Elliotte Friedman reveals the team in his conversation with a fan on his podcast.

Check it out:

"If there hasn't already been one, I believe there will be one. I believe he has been traded and they have asked him where he wants to go "Friedman stated last week. "Look, the guy has earned the right to call his shot and to pursue the cup if he so desires. He's been a fantastic Flyer, and he's done everything they've asked of him, and he genuinely cares."

In answer to a listener's inquiry, Friedman identified one team he thinks might benefit from such a trade. "Molly" approached Friedman about a trade to the Minnesota Wild. Here's what he said:

"No Molly I don't think you're crazy," said Friedman in response to the question on the 32 Thoughts Podcast. "As a matter of fact it's one of the teams that I had on my list for Giroux. You know he doesn't play as much center anymore but I don't know if that really matters, I think he's still a smart and talented player. It's one of the team's that makes sense to me I don't think you're crazy at all."

"I do agree I think it makes a lot of sense. Even though technically Giroux doesn't play as much center as he used to.... for me it kinda fits, there's definitely a logic to it."
