Minnesota State's NCAA goalkeeper Dryden McKay wins the Hobey Baker Trophy, awarded to the NCAA's Most Outstanding Player. Cole Caufield won the award last season.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Bobby Brink and Ben Meyers were the other finalists.
The irony is that McKay didn't even win the league's top goalie award. It was Buffalo Sabres prospect Devon Levi.
In 42 games this season, McKay has maintained a goals-against-average of 1.27 and a save percentage of, 934.
