Since their arrival in the NHL, the Golden Knights are a good hockey team. However, last season, numerous injuries to key players caused them to miss the playoffs for the first time.
Caught with the salary cap only increasing slightly, Vegas had to make choices in the last two summers, including getting rid of Marc-Andre Fleury and Max Pacioretty for absolutely nothing.
They have therefore set their sights on goaltender Robin Lehner, but he missed a lot of games last season and he will not play in 2022-23 either. Experts and analysts are not very confident for the Knights this season, but one player could help them cause a surprise.
Jack Eichel has been on fire this preseason. In just eight periods of hockey, he has seven points. It's only the preseason, but imagine if he carries that over to the entire season. He's got the talent to do it.
