The National Hockey League re-drafted the 2017 Draft via their social networks.
In this draft, the New Jersey Devils had drafted Nico Hishier at number one.
If it were to be done again, the first overall pick would undoubtedly be Cale Makar, who was drafted fourth by the Avlanche. This season, Makar won the Norris Trophy, awarded to the best defenseman in the NHL, the Conn Smythe Trophy, awarded to the best player in the playoffs and the Stanley Cup.
Nick Suzuki, originally drafted 13th overall by the Vegas Golden Knights and traded to the Montreal Canadiens, is ranked seventh.
