Ilya Kovalchuk Confirms He Intends To Continue His Career

A few days ago, it was rumoured that Ilya Kovalchuk was about to retire. At least, that's what a Russian media reportedly said after the Avangard GM's comments.
But from what we understand, there's a catch. Did the GM say anything because he was frustrated with Kovy's termination of the last year of his contract? Perhaps, yes.
But at least in his eyes, retirement is not a viable option at the moment. He does intend to continue his career, not hang up his skates.
This is what he said in an interview with a Russian media.
