Insane Update Regarding Kris Letang
When Pittsburgh Penguins blueliner Kris Letang suffered a stroke last week, fans were overwhelmed by worry.
Letang had suffered the same in 2014, and some were even worried it would be the end of his career.
However, only one week later, Letang was skating alone at practice. His recovery is clearly going splendidly.
Some of Letang's teammates spoke out about how much he means to the team.
«It's been great just having him around the room,» Brian Dumoulin said. «It's good to see that he can get up, move around. Still come to the rink and see us and still interact with us.»
«He's been there since I first started,» Dumoulin said. «We've grown together and played a lot together.» Coach Mike Sullivan equally repeated the emotions of his team.
«I think it's great for the guys,» head coach Mike Sullivan said. «They're more than just teammates, they're close friends. He's part of the social fabric of the locker room.»
«Just his presence is good for all of us,» Sullivan said. «Everyone sees how well he's doing. It's also good for Kris to be around the group. I look at it as a win on both sides.»
It is amazing to see Letang back so soon, and we wish him health and prosperity in the rest of his legendary career.
