Insider Pierre LeBrun urges us to keep a watch on the two Eastern Conference teams as a deal could be in the works.
LeBrun says:
«Watch the Rangers and the Habs till March 21. I believe Montreal covets Rangers talent. Rangers could use a Hab. Montreal prefers prospects over selections. We already have 12 picks for July. Rangers' pipeline attracting Habs.»
Braden Schneider, Nils Lundkvist, Matthew Robertson, and Zac Jones are among the prospects attracting the Canadiens' attention, according to Jean-François Chaumont of Le Journal de Montréal. He also reminded supporters that Montreal may offer Rangers defenseman Ben Chiarot.
