Insider reveals Marc-Andre Fleury's trade destination; You won't believe it!

The NHL Trade Deadline is less than a week away, and Fleury has been mentioned as a possible trade candidate.

In addition to not wanting to uproot his family for the second time in less than a year, Fleury has stated that he wants at least one more chance at the Stanley Cup.

The Toronto Maple Leafs, according to one media site, are the most likely destination, causing a mixed reaction.

The Maple Leafs could need a starter with Jack Campbell out and Petr Mrazek struggling. Fleury would be ideal for the job, but a deal between Toronto and Chicago would be difficult.

He may be older and his best days may be behind him, but he offers Toronto the playoff-tested goaltender they need to advance past the second round.

While Campbell and Mrazek have struggled recently, Fleury has excelled behind a mediocre Chicago defense. Toronto has a cap hit of $91,292 and a 23/23 roster restriction. The Maple Leafs have a save percentage of.905 and a GAA of "3.05

Despite general manager Kyle Dubas' prior claim that he wasn't concerned about his goalie, the Maple Leafs are laboring in the crease. Last night, Mrazek was replaced by rookie Erik Kallgren, who pitched a shutout in his NHL debut.
