Jordan Binnington Attempts to Battle Philipp Grubauer After the Game

On Monday night, the St Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche put on one of the most exciting hockey games you'll ever see, as game one was a match for the ages. The Avs prevailed 4-1 to take a 1-0 lead in the series, but Jordan Binnington of the Blues was the talk of the game. He not only stood on his head the whole game, but he also lost his composure at the end and attempted to attack Avs goalie Philipp Grubauer.
Binnington was furious as the game devolved into chaos, and he didn't like what he saw from the Avalanche goalie, who threw some blockers at Blues players. The linesman kept Binnington back, and this storey will continue in the next game and throughout the series. 'Binner' is notorious for having a short fuse, so it'll be interesting to see if the Avs try to exploit this.
The remainder of the series will see Avalanche forwards buzzing around the crease, attempting to throw Binnington off his game. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native made 46 saves in game one to save the Blues from being blown out.
