It's been a rough year if your a Montreal Canadiens fan, but things are starting to look better. The Habs snapped their 6 game losing streak vs the Dallas Stars. We finally have a General Manager and now we learned a big name wants to remain in Montreal.
Josh Anderson came over last season from the Columbus Blue Jackets in a trade for Max Domi and was a big part of the Canadiens playoff run. In a interview today Eric Engels shared this from Josh Anderson:
"I love it here in Montreal. I signed a long-term deal for a reason. To stay here and win in Montreal."
That's definitely good news usually when a team is struggling players want their first ticket out of town. That doesn't seem to be the case in Montreal, Tyler Toffoli also said he wanted to remain here yesterday so it looks like the players here want to stay and build a Stanley Cup Champion team for the fans.
