The Flames won a 9-6 over the Edmonton Oilers in game 1 of Round 2 between the provincial rivals.

The 15 combined goals is the most in a Stanley Cup Playoff game since 1993, and three shy of tying the all-time record of 18.

The funniest moment was when Matthew Tkachuk son of legend Keith Tkachuk refused to throw his hat after his son scored his hat trick goal.
