After many of Montreal Canadiens fans having little to no clue who Kent Hughes was or why he was picked over other well named candidates such a Patrick Roy, Mathieu Darche or Danny Briere, it looks like the new general manager is getting over well amongst Habs fan base.
This comes from TVA Sports survey asking the Canadiens fans if they were happy with the hiring of Hughes and his time so far as GM and it looks good for the new general manager, having 75.5 % of fans voting yes with over 5500 votes tallied.
This is definitely good news for Hughes after a previous poll by TVA Sports on all the possible GM candidates was done and Hughes had just 3.7 % of the votes while Patrick Roy was the fans' choice with 42.4 % of the votes.
