The Toronto Maple Leafs have agreed to terms on a one-season contract with forward Zach Aston-Reese.
The two-part deal will pay him $840,000.
Aston-Reese had signed a professional tryout contract with Toronto. He stole the spot from veteran Wayne Simmons who was placed in the draft.
In 69 games with the Penguins and Ducks last season, Aston-Reese had 15 points.
