Serial playmaker Ty Voit, and athletic goaltender Joseph Woll are among the group, but the pool is topped by Matthew Knies.
Knies is by no means a superstar, but it's not often a team finds such a projectable possible top-six forward outside of the first round of the draft. Knies was truly a brilliant pick by Kyle Dubas, and he could make an impact on the team as soon as this year.
Knies is also an Arizona native. There aren't many NHLers hailing from Arizona, but probably the biggest-named one is Toronto's very-own Auston Matthews.
With the two likely being teammates in a matter of months, Knies revealed some of the advice the Leafs have given him as he continues towards the NHL.
In an interview with Mark Masters of TSN, Knies shared quite a bit. Not only did he explain how he has improved his game since being drafted, but he shared the main philosophy of the Leafs' development team.
Whether he is used as a trade chip or a player, Leafs fans should be very excited about Matthew Knies.
