Of course, we're talking about the three biggest players involved in last night's trade between the Calgary Flames and the Florida Panthers, namely Matthew Tkachuk, Jonathan Huberdeau and MacKenzie Weeger.
But what about young prospect Cole Schwindt?
Drafted in 2019 by the Florida Panthers 81st overall, Schwindt spent his junior field hockey in the OHL with the Mississauga Steelheads.
He later made the jump to the pros in the 2020-2021 season and played just 10 games with the Syracuse Crunch.
Last season, the 21 year old forward played almost a full season with the Charlotte Checkers in the American League and scored 40 points in 72 games.
Interesting statistics for this 6 feet 2 inches and 182 lbs center. He will definitely be one to watch in a few years!
