Officially eliminated from the playoffs with his team, the Omsk Avangard in the KHL, 91.9 Sports announced that the head coach would be about to announce his retirement.
TVA Sports also covered the news, so the rumors may be true.
Hartley won the Gagarin Cup in the KHL in 2021. He also has a Stanley Cup ring, in 2001 with the Colorado Avalanche.
Could he be back behind an NHL bench? Let's say in Montreal as an assistant next year?
To be continued...
