Maple Leafs hit a home run and sign Giordano at a discount

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Toronto Maple Leafs have agreed to terms on a two-season contract with veteran defenceman and Toronto native Mark Giordano.
The deal would pay him $800,000 per year.
In 20 games this season with the Leafs, Giordano has 12 points, including two points in seven playoff games. He began his season with the Seattle Kraken.
