Marc-Andre Fleury's agent says a little more about his client's intentions
Marc-Andre Fleury's agent, Allan Walsh, confirmed again Wednesday on his own podcast that his client wanted to play one more season in the National Hockey League and revealed more about the possibility of Flower returning to Minnesota.
For the first five games of the series against the St. Louis Blues, the team leaned on him, but they needed Cam Talbot to keep the series alive. In six games, they were eliminated from the playoffs.
At his end-of-season press conference, Fleury had mentioned the possibility of a return to the Wild.
« It was such a good time, I loved the weather [in Minnesota] and everything," Fleury said. It was very appealing to play here. Definitely [I would consider coming back].
"I'm glad I came, I'm glad I had the opportunity to play with this team. Great locker room, great chemistry between the guys and the staff, the coaches. ... Even the people in town, when I went to the restaurant and everything, everyone was very welcoming and nice. They love the game, they love their hockey here, so it was nice to experience that. »
