Allan Walsh, confirmed that information again on Wednesday on his own podcast and revealed more on the possibility of Flower returning to Minnesota.
Fleury spoke to Walsh and mentioned to him that he wants to play one more season at least.
For the first five games of the series against the St. Louis Blues, the team relied on him, but they needed Cam Talbot to keep the series alive. In six games, they were eliminated from the playoffs.
At his end of season media availability, Fleury had discussed the possibility of returning to the Wild.
»It was such a great time, loved the time [in Minnesota] and everything,» Fleury said «Made it very appealing to play here. Definitely [I'd consider coming back].
«I'm glad I came, I'm glad I got the opportunity to play with this team. Such a great locker room, great chemistry between the guys and the staff, coaches. Even people around town, when I went to restaurants and stuff, everybody was very welcoming and nice. They love the game, they love their hockey here, so it was good to live this.»
