Milan Lucic had the chance to express his feelings about the hit today. When questioned if he ran into Smith on purpose, he said no.
I definitely wasn't trying to hit him, I was braking... ...if I did charge, we both wouldn't be playing tomorrow
Lucic made it clear if he would of ran over Mike Smith intentionally he wldn't be playing tomorrow.
