The Toronto Maple Leafs lost 5-4 in overtime! We heard this one before? The Leafs were in action Saturday Night in Colorado to face the Avalanche. The Leafs seemed like the were going to run over the Avs after leading 4-1 and seeing Darcey Kuemper's night end after allowing 3 goals on just 8 shots.
However after making it 4-1 the Avalanche woke up and slowly worked their way back into this one. They ended up trying it and Devon Toews who was robbed by Jack Campbell earlier in the game was the one scoring the overtime winner.
If losing wasn't enough, Calgary Flames forward Milan Lucic didn't miss the chance to remind the Leafs they blew a 4-1 lead with a tweet saying "seen this before?"
He made sure to remind the Leafs and their fans of their worst collapse in history, blowing a 4-1 lead in game 7 of the 2013 playoffs to the Bruins. The Leafs had a 4-1 lead in the 3rd period and blew it to Bergeron's OT goal to lose the series.
