Forward Ryan Poehling has enough of chances to show he belongs with the Habs and should start the season in the NHL. To start the season, Poehling was given a position that he had to maintain or lose by head coach Dominique Ducharme.
With four pre-season games, he had the greatest opportunity to impress, but he couldn't.
''Ryan Poehling had four games, but he didn't show anything good. Above all, he gave his bosses no reason to keep him in MTL.''
''Ryan Poehling had every chance to earn a spot with the Canadiens. Unfortunately, he doesn't deserve it. Jake Evans is light years ahead of him.
Marc Bergevin needs to add depth at center.''
