On Saturday, rumours surfaced of a catastrophic fall involving a lady and her small kid at Petco Park, before to the San Diego Padres-Atlanta Braves MLB game. Apparently, the tragedy occurred as fans were entering the building, resulting in a number of startled bystanders who were unfortunate eyewitnesses to the awful occurrences.
We now know that the woman and her child died in the fall, a sad tragedy for the family and one that has undoubtedly left many of those present on Saturday permanently damaged. Some spectators believe the woman tried to stop her 2-year-old son from falling and ended up falling herself, but police officers investigating the case have put doubt on this entire episode.
The fatalities in this case "looked to be strange," according to the San Diego Tribune, raising more suspicions about what transpired. We are optimistic that authorities will be able to solve this case due to numerous eyewitnesses and possibly security cameras that captured the occurrence.
