The salary cap has been implemented in the NHL to keep rich teams from becoming very strong and to keep balance.
Allan Walsh, a famous NHL agent, bashes the NHL salary cap system and Gary Bettman with the following post.
There are no NHL players among the top 100 highest paid athletes in 2022. Just the way Gary's triple cap, hard salary cap was intended to operate.
