Yesterday's trade of Frank Vatrano to the New York Rangers freed up some cap space for Florida. Now we know who might be included in a deal for the current Flyers leader.
The Charlotte Checkers have reportedly scratched forward Owen Tippett from tonight's lineup. And, according to NHL Insider Darren Dreger, it's all about a Giroux trade.
He says:
"Owen Tippett is unlikely to play tonight for Charlotte. More Giroux rumours speculation."
