Paul Bissonette Makes His Prediction On The Next Head Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs
Despite the fact that Barry Trotz chose not to coach this season, he has expressed interest in coaching and original six team. While five of the coaching situations in the original six are stable, the situation of the Toronto Maple Leafs is disastrous.
Now 4-5-1 on the season, coach Sheldon Keefe has lost the trust of his players and his fans, and it appears changes are coming.
Here is Trotz's quote about coaching this season.
I think No. 1 is, I'm not quite there," Trotz said, "I think probably to get everything settled, I'm going to be into early December before I feel comfortable (that) I've got the family stuff in control and after that I'm probably going to have to take a little break, a week or two, to maybe go somewhere warm in the winter and then after that.
Paul Bissonette, on the Spittin' Chiclets podcast suggested that he believed that Trotz would be the Leafs' coach by the trade deadline, and that he would lead the fabled team to a Stanley Cup.
We will see how it all turns out!
