Paul Bissonnette is no stranger to being shocking, but his newest NHL prediction may be his biggest surprise yet.

In a Twitter post, Biz, replying to Spittin' Chiclets, makes a major claim regarding one of Hockey's greatest players.

There has been discussions over the future of Sidney Crosby following the Pittsburgh Penguins first missed playoffs since 2006. It would be a major surprise given the talent around the Penguins roster, including longtime teammate Evgeni Malkin, who signed a four-year extension with Pittsburgh following similar exit rumors.

It wouldn't be a big surprise for Crosby to be interested in Colorado. The still uncertain future of Gabriel Landeskog means Colorado has salary room, and the potential move reunites Crosby with fellow Cole Harbour, NS native Nathan MacKinnon.

Bissonnette, who is well connected with the NHL, didn't make the Crosby claim a certainty, but for sure, people will be talking.

Crosby, at the age of 35, continues to be an NHL star, scoring 33 Goals and 93 Points in 82 Games for Pittsburgh this season. The Pens missed the playoffs by a single point.

As Crosby gets older, it's possible he may make one more run for a playoff win. But does Crosby feel comfortable enough to stay in Pittsburgh forever is the question. Crosby has not signaled a willingness to leave, but with Colorado having won the Cup just last season, there is a very alluring opportunity for both sides.
