The Golden Knights announced late Wednesday night the signing of forward Phil Kessel for a $1.5 million season.
In an interview following his signing, Kessel took a strong jab at his former organization, the Arizona Coyotes.
"It's going to be cool to play for a team that wants to win." - Phil Kessel
Despite a very ordinary team around him, Kessel still managed 52 points in 82 games last season. All indications are that with a Jack Eichel or Jonathan Marchessault around him, Kessel will become an incredible bargain for Vegas.
