Phillip Danault has had a lot of success since he became a member of the Los Angeles Kings.
In addition to being very reliable defensively, and a great mentor for the Kings' young players, Danault is racking up goals, one after the other.
Yesterday, he scored his 25th goal of the season, a career high.
This number is higher than Logan Couture (23 goals), Tyler Seguin (23 goals) and equal to Patrick Kane. To give you an order of magnitude, Nick Suzuki is the Canadiens' leading scorer with 20 goals.
This season, Danault has 49 points in 76 games with his new team.
