On the Trade Rumours Abound podcast, experts Darren Dreger, Pierre LeBrun and Ryan Rishaug discussed the Vancouver Canucks' Bo Horvat file.
According to LeBrun, Horvat is the most coveted player between now and the trade deadline.
Why? Because he will become an unrestricted free agent, there is no discussion of a future contract extension and he does not have a no-trade clause in his current deal.
So the Canucks will have the freedom to trade him anywhere they want, and at the highest possible price, unlike the Blackhawks with Patrick Kane, who has a no-movement clause, which will definitely limit the expected return for him in a trade.
